Joining as the Propositions Manager within the SME trading division for this well recognised brand, youre going to be working for a business whos looking for someone whos not afraid to try new things. Keen to bring a sense of disruptive thinking around how to drive trading results for SME propositions, which will include shaping them to suit customer needs, working across all channels (web, telephony, direct sales, etc.).

The SME market for them is defined as sole traders through to firms with needs of around 100 subscriptions. Theyve got a solid footing and are on a growth trajectory. Expecting to achieve doubledigit growth this financial year.

The proposition itself is diverse in nature and can be adapted to suit the varying needs of different target market segments. Its an annual subscription and is a servicebased proposition delivered to customers in time of need.

The propositions do evolve, both by competitor actions and based on identified customer needs which represent an additional revenue generating opportunities and valueadded service.

Your remit will include handling this, by keeping informed of market changes and leveraging customer insight. Utilising it to inform proposition strategy, channel and trading activity plans. Looking to keep the proposition compelling and competitive in order to successfully meet P&L goals.


You will report directly to the Director of this business unit. Theyve stated theyre really keen on seeing demonstrable business impact and candidates who are keen on joining a firm which, despite being a big brand themselves, is not reflective of a large corporate business environment. You will have ownership and autonomy to drive action. Not a lot of process and red tape.

You will be part of a team of 7 within the Acquisition Trading team, and the role is autonomous with no direct reports.


Theyre really keen on engaging someone whos motivated to deliver business results as they have bold ambitions for growth. Someone who has experience of being accountable for P&L, product or sales performance of a proposition.

Someone whos craving the freedom to look at introducing more radical thinking in how to take the product to market and help redefine their strategy. A competent storyteller whos comfortable engaging senior leadership around their ideas and can turn those into action which delivers results.

Location: Bristol/Bradley Stoke

Salary: up to £60,000 base

Evidenced experience of being accountable for a P&L, product or sales performance Able to demonstrate a data and insightbased approach to decision making, informing trading, proposition and channel strategies Good solid proposition development experience Able to evidence impact and achievement of business results/commercial targets and objectives Numerate, comfortable looking at financial data and trading performance results. Can extrapolate meaning from these and leverage them to decide appropriate actions May have a broader marketing pedigree beyond the above too. Looking at go to market, marketing communications pieces you understand how to take propositions to market and connect the dots into customer experience Have experience of working across multiple trading channels web, telephony, direct selling, etc. Must have the necessary permissions to live and work in the UK.
