Our Payment Operations Team in Portsmouth is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the vital role of support for our Senior Payment Operations Analysts.
Joining our team as our Payments Operations Analyst, you will thrive in a fast paced ever-changing environment and have a desire to develop and progress within your career. Your daily tasks will also include:
Ensure disputes against payments are processed within 24 hours (chargebacks, retrievals & fraud alerts) Monitor the Expected v Actual billing report, track and resolve all variances Monitor reports, escalating and driving through to resolution of any variances impacting month end pay through rates Track Account Updater files and monitor results, taking action where responses received present a risk to future billings Compile the monthly KPI deck and present to Senior Manager for review, ensuring the data is accurate and provides comprehensive commentaries where unexpected behaviour has occurred Maintain accurate User Guides for all processes relating to the role Identify & propose system improvements and enhancements and drive them through to implementation Review & resolve the billing exceptions on a daily basis working closely with our Technical Support & Development Teams

To be considered for the role of Payment Operations Analyst, you will have the ability to absorb and quickly grasp billing processes across different technical platforms and apply that knowledge laterally when analysing data. You will have a high level of personal accountability and the flexibility to function in a fast-paced business, ever-changing environment. We also require:
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and ensure they are completed within deadlines Excellent communication skills - the ability to present and articulate reports/data to key / senior stakeholders Effective critical thinking skills to analyse data to facilitate problem resolution and highlight trends and issues Excellent attention to detail Strong computer literacy skills would be advantageous eg: SQL, Excel, Powerpoint and Visio Must be open-minded, flexible, and willing to promote change
