Celsian Education Leicester are urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to work on a longterm role in a Leicestershire secondary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for any experienced MFL teacher who is looking for a new role, and would like to work in a department where staff and students have enjoyed a number of successes in recent years.

  • The ideal candidate will hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS obtained), and must have a specialism in MFL, with a strong track record of raising attainment, managing classroom behaviour effectively, and developing highly informative and engaging lessons aimed towards Key Stage 3 and 4 students.

  • This is a longterm role, possibly permanent for the right candidate, which is likely to continue until the Summer Term, however we have been informed that there may be the possibility of extension or even a permanent role for the right candidate depending on performance and department feedback.

  • Applicants must:

  • Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTLS or QTS obtained)
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Excellent behaviour management
  • A passion for languages, and working with young people
  • A sense of humour and perspective is highly desirable
