Here at Cancer Research UK, our End User Computing team is in the process of bringing back in house all of our end user support services back in house from an outsourced provider. A new role has been created for an End User Computing Engineer who is passionate about service delivery and keen to move into a product management environment to join the team on a permanent basis.

What will I be doing?
Our EUC Engineers have excellent people skills and are comfortable in both telephone and client facing service delivery ensuring a best in class end user computing experience.

The End User Computing Engineer, will be responsible for...
Contribute to ensuring our support services are fit for purpose and have continuous improvement as standard. Supporting and ensuring that EUC services are delivered as a product and that end user needs are fed in to the product backlog. Assisting the continuous improvement of the services and products within the EUC team (i.e. Windows, Asus laptops, Citrix, meeting room solutions). Supporting multiple platforms including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and conferencing equipment.
What are we looking for?

Proficiency in support of Office 365 Proven knowledge of Windows 10, SSCM, Intune, AppV, XenApp, Browsers and Adobe Creative Cloud. Good understanding of concepts such as WAN, LAN, Servers, Intranet, Internet, TCP/IP, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Good understanding of both Windows and Mac operating systems Experience of working in a customerfocused environment
