Fleet Administrator

Charlton, South London

Morrison Utility Services are currently looking to recruit a Fleet Administrator to work on our Thames Water contract in Charlton, South London.

As the Fleet Administrator your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Manage the vehicle defect report process, making sure all data is recorded accurately
  • Communicate with third parties regarding various reports in a timely manner
  • File all vehicle maintenance records in accordance with the company’s procedures
  • Manage all PCN’s and ensure all information is logged in line with the correct procedures
  • Manage all commendations and complaints in line with the company policies
  • Monitor and update the driver training matrix
  • Complete DVLA checks as and when required
  • Ensure drivers files are updated with the correct information
  • Monitor and order all vehicles including exchanges between drivers following the companies procedures
  • Produce a contract level Monthly Dashboard to be presented at monthly H&S meetings
  • Monitor training requirements

Education and Experience required:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Clear and confident telephone manner
  • Key team player
  • Experience in office administration
  • Excellent IT skills particularly MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
  • Ability to draft letters and reports to a high standard
  • Understanding of relevant points of GDPR
  • Must be able to deal with a range of ongoing tasks at the same time and be able to cope under pressure
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision and to make administrative decisions based on a broad understanding of relevant policies or operational requirements
  • Excellent organisational skills

Additional:

  • It is essential that the successful individual is self-motivated with a willingness to learn all aspects of the role and develop their existing skills
  • Average 45 hours a week – Monday to Friday between 7:30am - 5:00pm
