Morrison Utility Services are currently looking to recruit a First Call Operative (FCO) to work on our tRIIO contract in Chesterfield.

As a FCO you will be responsible for supporting Cadent’s Gas Emergency Service, safe-guarding both life and property from Gas Escapes.

tRIIO is a gas engineering business working in partnership with Cadent Gas Networks to improve the supply of gas to millions of people living and working in North London and the East of England.

We are a joint venture organisation, owned by Morrison Utility Services and Skanska UK specialising in the delivery of design and contracting services for the UK’s gas distribution network – replacing old mains, laying new ones, installing new connections to houses and commercial premises and helping with emergency response services.

As a FCO your duties & responsibilities will be:

  • First Responder to Gas Emergencies
  • Provide on-call emergency cover
  • Carry out the installation, replacement and maintenance of gas meters
  • Liaise with Public
  • Flexible work patterns – including some unsociable hours

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

  • 2 years experience in the Gas Industry
  • CCN1/CMA1 and MET1 (or equivalent Level 3 Diplomas)
  • GASsafe registered
  • Full driving licence
  • DE4, 45, 55 & 56. DN10 & 22. NG 14-25. S 32, 33, 40, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 80 & 81
