An exciting opportunity has landed for an experienced regional Sales Manager working for a fastgrowing company that operate in over 20 countries. They are looking for someone who is experienced within the textiles, packaging, food and beverage or similar industry sector. They are looking for a team player with excellent technical knowledge and background that can fit well within their team focussed culture.
This role will specifically be involved in their Rotary Union sector of the business and will involve key, existing partners whilst defining longterm strategic goals, building customer and partner relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
You will work with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximise revenue. You will find potential new customers, present to them, ultimately convert them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future.

  • Your responsibilities and required skills:

  • Responsible for optimising sales coverage, ensuring resources are deployed appropriately taking into consideration; coverage, skill mix, productivity and competency.
  • Instil a culture of excellent customer focus and satisfaction through the leadership of the sales sub function. Acting with speed in resolution of customer issues and maintaining the high standard of customer support
  • Accountable for the delivery of commercial results in line with the sales plan
  • To work with Businesses to establish the appropriate offering for the customers wants and needs.
  • To actively promote said offerings within the targeted customer base, gaining credibility, trust and ultimately profitable orders.
  • Experience in selling rotary unions or simiar
  • Good communication skills, professional and can work in a large company environment
  • Technical knowledge is desirable but a proven track record in specification sales is essential
  • Track record of achieving KPIs and winning new business
  • Be willing to travel internationally
