Are you an experienced Registered General Nurse RGN looking for flexibility in your role, partnered with excellent rates of pay? If so, we have a number of exciting opportunities working as part of a multidisciplinary team on a variety of general and surgical wards in Cardiff.

  • We understand that every ward is different, therefore if youre more suited to surgical, orthopaedics, general medical or A&E wards, we can find the right shift for you!

  • This position would suit an experienced RGN looking to work as part of a skilled clinical team in a fast paced environment. You will be an autonomous clinician who enjoys working in a dynamic ward settings nursing for adults with a range of complex needs.

  • This role is available for full or part time hours the starting rate for this exciting role is £18 £30 per hour and we have block bookings of full time day shifts immediately available!

  • On shift, your responsibilities as a RGN include:

  • Using your nursing skills to ensure the safety of the patients in your care
  • Administration of medication as required for each individual resident
  • working as part of a multidisciplinary team to maintain exceptional standards of nursing care
  • Working to NICE guidelines and following patient care plans as instructed
  • follow NHS internal process for record keeping, complaints handling and incident reporting
  • To be successful for this vacancy you will be able to demonstrate that you:

  • Have or are able to undertake an enhanced DBS check
  • Have experience working within an NHS setting
  • Nursing Qualification and NMC registration
  • Can work on your own initiative
  • Are proactive in your own development, ensuring you keep up to date with NICE guidelines and new instruction on best practice
  • Have excellent people management skills with the confidence to work with individuals with varying clinical conditions
  • The minimum requirements for this role are:

  • NMC registered (RGN)
  • Nursing qualification
