Zoek shortlisted for the 2021 Recruiter Awards

We’re delighted and proud to announce that Zoek’s Job Board has been shortlisted as one of the nominees for the 2021 Recruiter Awards category “Most Effective Recruitment Marketing Campaign“.

Established in 2002, the Recruiter Awards event is the UK’s largest event for the entire recruitment community, recognising outstanding achievements by agencies, job boards, and in-house recruiters. Achievements in recruitment marketing and technology are also in the spotlight on the night. Among a broad variety of categories, the Recruiter Awards organise the ‘Most Effective Recruitment Marketing Campaign’ to celebrate organisations achieving stand-out accomplishments in recruitment marketing campaigns. Furthermore, this category recognises organisations that add outstanding value to their business partnerships and relationships through creativity, innovation, market insight, and cost-effectiveness.

Zoek’s truck-sized CV recruitment marketing campaign

Zoek commits to helping all job seekers find their next job and to growing our job board service through innovation, creativity, and transparency. Our truck-sized CV campaign, which quickly went viral, was aimed at tackling the challenges that covid-19 has brought upon people’s job-hunting efforts.  The aim was to help one job seeker land the job they want, through a super-sized CV advertised on the back of a lorry. In doing so, the lorry would drive across the UK to grab the attention of potential hirers and would remain there until the candidate secured their next well-matched job opportunity.

Crafting compelling recruitment marketing campaigns

From strategy and design to technology or media, Zoek’s marketing team has put great effort in coming together to create campaigns, such as the ‘Trucksized CV’ competition, that effectively tell the story of our brand in a unique and innovative way. More so, our campaigns strive to help job seekers make a fresh start by landing a job that will make them happy. With bold, clear call-to-action messages, it seems that Zoek’s marketing team has found a way to be noticed in the midst of advertising “noise” by delivering compelling campaigns. And that we are most proud of! Our innovative launch of the Space CV competition sets the most recent example!

To receive recognition from the industry and the Recruiter Awards is a huge honour and just goes to reinforce all of the hard work we have put into delivering creative, well-thought-through, and eye-catching campaigns that help make a real difference in job seekers’ efforts. 

We’re hoping to bring back the award – fingers crossed! We know every nomination can’t end in a win, and regardless of the outcome, it is a genuine honour just to be shortlisted in an event as recognised as the Recruiter Awards! Zoek’s nomination comes as a testament to cap off a challenging but successful series of efforts through 2020 and the pandemic while kicking off an even more promising 2021. Let’s see what the future holds…
