Since you take your job search seriously, you’re crafting versions of your CV that are specifically tailored to the job you’re applying for, right?

Here’s why you should. A serious job hunter frequently uses the same CV for multiple applications. But you really should have one CV for the Digital Marketing Manager job you really want, a variation for the eCommerce Marketing Manager role you’re also ideally suited for, one for the Digital Customer Journey Manager (because that’s just another job title for the same role), and so on.

The best job search websites and job search apps like Zoek will let you save different profiles & multiple CVs,   Use your main CV (and variations of) on your favourite jobs website like Zoek. You may also want to leverage the dozens of lesser or niche job sites that are out there by posting your CV variations on them.

If you try this strategy – great. But do keep track of which CV is where – and remember to keep them all updated.
