Sports management can encompass roles as diverse as running a sports team, club or individual sportsperson. Having a job in sports and leisure management could also include running a sports or leisure centre. Similar in many ways to a coach or trainer, the role of a sports instructor is to teach a specific sport or sports skill. Instructors of sport teach a variety of disciplines from yoga to martial arts, football or swimming. As a sport instructor you get to practice your passion on a daily basis whilst helping to shape the next generation of sports people and bring the sport you love to a new audience. 

Referee Jobs

Referees don’t always have an easy ride, especially in a high pressured team games or in the final of a competition.  But this important role ensures all participants adhere to the rules of the game and participate in a safe way. Without these passionate, dedicated and fair minded people, events could neither take place nor be considered truly fair and impartially run. To be a referee you need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a deep knowledge and love of the sport you are participating in.
