About the job
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Communications Specialist with my client who works within the Fuel Retail Industry. They are global leaders in their industry with offices worldwide. This role involves supporting the EMEA Marketing Communications Manager and the Global Marketing Communications team in a wide range of activities. Focusing on B2B Social Media, internal and external communication, brand implementation, digital marketing, customer events and local PR, you will be frequently communicating with colleagues and business partners around the world. This position will be dynamic and proactive, supporting in an extensive range of international projects.
Building and implementing global social media strategies that aligns with the product business unit plans using: competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
Collaborating with the global teams to generate, edit, publish and share original daily content.
Capturing and analysing the EMEA social media data/metrics, insights and best practices in order to continuously improve performance
Write editorials and press releases for new product lines
Support in the designing of new marketing collaterals such as newsletters etc. with responsibility for updates and distribution
Special assignments as needed or required
To be successful in this position you must possess the following:
BSc in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or relevant field
Extensive experience with B2B social media including building and maintaining a social media strategy
Experience with CRM systems
Experience in Microsoft office Applications, Adobe Creative Suite and HTML code
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with demonstrable experience managing multiple projects
Creative thinker with a positive attitude
