CMR Surgical is now seeking a high calibre DevOps Engineer, who would be responsible for a wide range of systems administration, DevOps and IT functions across the company Responsibilities Supporting and developing automated build & test system and associated program management toolingAssisting in system architecture design deploying and looking after IT systems and servicesImplementation of configuration management solutions and keeping up to date with emerging technologies and tools. About youWe expect candidates to have an appropriate Computer Science, Maths or equivalent degree, with significant industry experience.Strong programming and scripting skills, with an emphasis on Python, BASH, SQL, YaML; C and C++ would also be helpfulExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) platforms such as Ansible and TerraformFamiliarity with multiple platforms and operating systems Linux and Windows Server; including custom Linux configurationExperience managing, supporting, and using CI/CT systems (preferably TeamCity)Familiarity with MySQL server, and associated schema designPrevious experience using and configuring Jira / Confluence would be advantageousPractical knowledge of Cloud deployment (particularly AWS), and maintenance of virtual serversExperience working in an Agile development environmentThe person should be enthusiastic, curious, energetic and proactive and interested in what CMR is seeking to achieveCapable of coupling rigorous attention to detail with creative approach to problem solvingThe person will be a good team-playerThe packageWe offer a competitive salaryand a great benefits package (including pension, cycle-to-work scheme, lifeassurance, and medical insurance as well as our now famous monthly companyBBQs).
