JOB TITLE Child Support Worker Ref: 811858MH - Eastbourne
Background to the job
We are looking for a support buddy for our daughter, who has Global Development Delay.
She is a 9 year old going on teens and has a tendancy to ask for more help than she actually needs, so I would want you to encourage her to be more independent.
She has some communication difficulty and you will need to have experience with PECS and/or Makaton
Hours / Times of Work
We have 8 hours a week during term time and 6 hours a week during holidays
Rates of Pay and other Benefits
£8.00 per hour
Main Duties and Responsibilities
She goes horse riding on a Wednesday so this will be where we need the most support, she will need to be picked up from School, brought home to get changed and then to take her to the horse riding school, for a 30 minute lesson.
There will be a need to support the family especially on days out.
She will need support with her personal care.

The jobs is advertised on an employed basis (i.e. it is not relevant for self-employment). Successful applicants will be required to provide a P45 or complete a P46 which will be forwarded to HM Revenue and Customs to ensure that appropriate tax and national Insurance deductions can be made.
