We are currently recruiting a Sales Director on a permanent contract to join L.E. West (a subsiduary of International SOS) based in Barking, East London. The successful candidate will be managing the order management function by supervising Client Services Managers (CSM) and Order Desk Executives and will be driving the Business Development agenda for LE West (MedSupply UK).Whilst overseeing the order management function, the role is responsible for the further development and penetration of new business in targeted markets (e.g. maritime), whilst coordinating the provision of quality solutions that satisfy and exceed client’s needs and expectation.The Sales Director is a full member of the Leadership team for MedSupply UK and plays an important business partnering role with the Managing Director on commercial, risk management and business development activities. He or she will also participate in special projects such as Supply Chain operating model redesign, new markets penetration, assessment and integration of successful acquisitions. Ket ResponsibilitiesPeople ManagementSets objectives for staff that support the order management.Acts as a key team member of the Global MedSupply Product Team, communicate and reports on sales targets, quotes and order status and manages staff to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.Oversees the daily activities of the assigned teams.Takes a leading role coordinating with internal departments for order fulfillment.Assist with recruitment, performance management and identification of training needs and help to facilitate ongoing training activities for the assigned team members.Business DevelopmentGenerate new sales within assigned market segments to ensure that revenue and profit targets are achieved.Identify and develop business relationships with key and existing clients in order to achieve revenue and profit objectives.Work with other Intl.SOS entities to identify business opportunities across the Group business lines.Identify buying influencers, decision makers and develop contacts at the highest levels within target organizations.Order ManagementResponsible for ensuring timely and effective problem resolution for client base.Daily assessment of assigned account management team’s workload; prioritizing activity based on pre-determined objectives.Interact with related departments within fulfillment center to ensure customer service and sales issues are resolved.Document all process and procedures for quote creation and order management function up to the point of order release to the warehouse. Qualifications

Required Work Experience Sales or business development function people management experience, preferably within the maritime industry.Extensive knowledge of medical devices and/or pharmaceutical order fulfillment process and logistics of global delivery, preferably in the maritime industry.Proven analytical skills, ability to determine market drivers and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Ability to develop and drive a business development agenda.Background in order processing, fulfillment and/or supply chain preferred.Background in purchasing and inventory replenishment / planning preferred.Experience in procurement and sourcing will be a plus.Demonstrated technical competency including but not limited to computer analysis, statistics, data collection, problem formulation, data interpretation and forecasting.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global team environment and matrix organization.Strong language skills in Portuguese is a plus.
