Salary: £14.20 per hour Monday to Friday and £16.92 on Saturday and Sunday
Hours: Full Time days short shifts x 5
Time recruitment is assisting a nonprofit charity healthcare provider who is currently seeking a Staff Nurse for their stunning 40 bedded nursing home based in sheffield. This care centre is on all local bus routes and is assessable via vehicle.
Ideally located it has been specifically designed to provide palliative care and dementia nursing care; the service is largely residential.
The service specialises in end of life care for people with incurable and chronic illnesses, together with posthospital convalescence, respite packages and acute illness. This is the only home in sheffield with their own Syringe Driver offering high grade clinical skills. All training is paid for and extensive.
The home is nonprofit making, investing any funds back into the service, being part of a registered charity established to provide nursing and housing for older people.
The care team is highly skilled and carries out tailored care, with nurse call systems and ensuite rooms, together with an activities programme to promote personal health.
The service has a long standing manager who ensures it is easily manageable with never less than 2 staff nurses on shift during the day and 8 care staff assisting on shift.
Applicants for the Staff Nurse role should:
Hold a current NMC registration and have the legal right to work within the UK
Have strong leadership and clinical skillset
Maintain a person centred approach to care
Up to date with current practises and regulations
Most importantly have a passion for caring
