One of the leading Healthcare Services is currently seeking an Activity Coordinator to join Care Home based in Hampton.
The home provides personalised residential and dementia care for people with dementia and physical disabilities. It is situated within a quiet residential area, with landscaped gardens where residents can enjoy at their own leisure.

The successful candidate will receive starting salary of �8.48 per hour with great additional benefits such as a pension scheme, free parking, full training, staff retail and online discounts plus many more.

As an Activity Coordinator, you will be working within the home to provide activity opportunities for the residents. With the senior team, you will be responsible for planning and running a programme of activities for the residents linked to assessed social needs indentified in care plans. You will be mainly responsible for maintaining and promoting activities that older people enjoy and find stimulating. The activities should be based upon entertainment, activities and community links, focussing on the individual, enabling the different levels of physical and mental agility. This will include:
� Undertaking fundraising activity for the Resident�s Fund and being an active member of the Residents� Committee for Activities
� Organising games, crafts, parties, entertainment and outings for all residents
� Understand the personal responsibilities in relation to health and safety at work, fire safety and evacuations procedures
You will also be helping maintain accurate records, undertaking ongoing training and getting involved in welcoming and training new staff. As well as generally promoting our residents� independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care and stimulation.

We are seeking someone who has previous experience of involvement in voluntary or community activities and have an understanding of the role social interaction plays in the well-being of people. You will hold or be working towards NVQ Level 2 in support Services in Healthcare. You will need to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and have the ability to work within a team.

To be considered for this role you must have experience of community activities and hold or be working towards NVQ Level 2 in Support Services in Healthcare.
