Eden Scotts client, one of the largest pensions consultancy in the UK, are looking for a SIP Senior Technician to join their team in Stirling. This opportunity has come up due to continual growth of their existing and new clients.
Main responsibilities include working as part of a team, providing technical support for all involved in the SSAS/SIPP business, allowing them to provide efficient customer service to clients. You will be monitoring, interpreting and analysing the impact of legislative and other regulatory changes as they affect SSAS and SIPP for the purpose of identifying practical changes to procedures. Other responsibilities include:
Communicating changes to staff with training when required and delivering technical training
Providing constructive feedback to Team Managers in relation to staff
Participate in Risk Audit and department checking ensuring high level of quality is maintained throughout
Participate, and or coordinate Project work within the Department
Provide support and work with the Business Development Managers to help drive the business forward as required
Must have FPC or ACII or equivalent with previous detailed experience of administration of SSAS and SIPP business and sound understanding of dealing with technical issues. Other requirements include:
Project management experience
Experience within the UK financial market
Experience of analysing the impact of legislative and regulatory changes on administration processes
Experience of developing and documenting standard procedures/training notes
