Job title: Quality and Compliance Manager

Protocol are working on behalf of a leading training provider recruiting for an experienced and passionate Quality Manager to join their growing and experienced team in their Reading office. Our client are a professional education company, that delivers both exam and apprenticeship programmes for accounting qualifications, but has wider ambitions over the next few years.
This role requires a strong approach to compliance and quality within a commercial context working with professional organisations.
The successful candidate will possess up to date knowledge of apprenticeships under trailblazer standards, (although not necessarily in the finance industry), their delivery, the apprenticeship levy and EFSA funding rules especially relating to subcontracting.
Managing the team of skills coaches
Monitoring KPIs to drive quality
Acting as nominee for Ofsted inspections
Reporting to the Board of Directors
Managing ESFA audit
The person & qualifications
Ability to communicate with senior management and board members both internally and externally
Experience of PICS/Onefile or similar systems highly desirable
Strong working knowledge of ESFA Funded programmes such as Apprenticeships levy and nonlevy
Highly numerate and analytical
Advanced IT skills and confident in using a range of IT tools
Writing of bid and growth requests desirable
An analytical and inquisitive mind determined to provide timely and accurate information to key stakeholders
Highly organised and good eye for detail
