One of our leading clients who develop stateoftheart equipment for the oil & gas industry are currently looking for an experienced Windows Programmer to join their development team in Gloucester. Following a successful 2018 and ever improving commercial performance, our client is looking to expand their software team to support increasing workload and to meet customer demands.
The main responsibilities and daytoday tasks for the successful candidate will include providing technical support to the production of equipment and to customers (some internationally), designing graphical user interfaces with simple workflows, developing Windows software within a small Agile team and real time interaction with embedded systems through various interfaces.
Our client is ideally looking for somebody who can demonstrate the following:
Experience of interaction with embedded systems
Extensive experience with C++ or C# and an understanding of both
Experience working with universal windows applications
Ability to work closely with other team members especially Electronic Systems Engineers
Up to date knowledge of Microsoft tools and libraries
