Our major client is a major household player in the FMCG market and their Sales and Marketing has gone through a significant period of change which has landed in the new world of Commercial Development. As part of that journey, we are keen to see if there are any profiles of people who have an IT background from a business partnering perspective? Specifically in the world of Commercial Development and Marketing.
Do you have experience with packages that deal with and handle data around Customer Insights, Product Management and Project Management? Defining business processes, capturing requirements and writing user stories, with exposure as super user, trainer or implementation of data or better still, a Business Partner? Come and speak to us.
What does a typical day entail?
Immersed in the category team to understand their needs and how they work Supporting marketing to make effective use of advanced analytics to inform decision making and marketing operations
Participating in workshops to identify, (re)frame and address major marketing technical capability issues Run a workshop to identify and then document business processes, activities to identify opportunities for lean working enabled by technology
Identifying requirements for new dashboard and reporting solutions to help our Insights teams make better decisions, based on single source of truth and good data quality practices Writing requirements; reviewing epics and user stories
Running a stand up with multidisciplinary teams in the business to assess where activities are and updating a Kanban board Collaborating with solutions teams to provide guidance on priorities and remove impediments
Skills & Essentials:
Defining business processes, capturing requirements and writing user stories
Exposure as super user, trainer or implementation of data and technology such as: Nielsen, Kantar tools, Project Management tools, Promotion management and Product management, Tableau,..
Worked in or very closely to a commercial and marketing organisation Understanding and passion for category development, revenue growth management and customer experience
Business case definition, or value driven mindset Process definition and optimisation
*Have worked as part of an agile team
This Commercial Development Technology Business Partner Marketing role is based in West London and pays c£5570K base, 10% bonus, £8.6K Car Allowance, pension, family BUPA, shares.
