Lecturer in Modern and Contemporary Art - Faculty of Arts
We are looking for an academic to join the highly regarded Art History Department of the Open University and play a full role in its teaching and administration. Duties will include contributing written and on-line teaching material to undergraduate and postgraduate modules in preparation, with particular emphasis on global approaches to modern and contemporary art. You will be expected to work on existing undergraduate and postgraduate modules in the department and Faculty, including assuming administrative responsibility for their maintenance and delivery. You will also be an active researcher with a strong record of published research or evidence of forthcoming publications and able to make a strong contribution to the next Research Excellence Framework (REF). Where appropriate, you will contribute to the supervision of PhD students.You will have a good honours degree in Art History or other relevant subject(s) and have a PhD completed or about to be obtained.
