About the job
The post holder will be a key member of the Corazon Health team and will assist the Occupational Health Manager in providing quality, commercial Occupational Health to the corporate sector.
The post holder will be highly organised and able to work autonomously, be highly motivated, enthusiastic and respond positively to a challenging and varied role. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral are essential. The post holder will be able to manage multiple issues whilst prioritising work assignments.
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate the following:
Registered General Nurse (Level 1)
Full qualification in Occupational Health from a recognised source, either at certificate, diploma or degree level.
Full clean driving license
Commercial sector experience, minimum 2 years post qualification.
Proven clinical skills including audiometry, spirometry, phlebotomy and immunisation
Competent with management referrals & new starter health screening
Competent with basic IT functions such as the use of Microsoft Office.
Relationship and rolesDemonstrate the ability to interact, cooperate and establish effective working relationships with Corazon employees.Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values, and ensure commerciality.Demonstrate knowledge of the full OH remit, keeping sound medical notes for each of the following:New starter screening be competent in paper based health screening to determine medical capability to carry out a defined role.Sickness absence and health management conduct assessments and provide robust reports to management on medical conditions affecting an employees ability to work.Health surveillance undertake routine assessment across a range of topics such as spirometry, audiology, phlebotomy, immunisation skin assessment, fork lift truck medicals and HAVs.Health and wellbeing deliver health promotion activities.
The post holder will be based from home and will provide the full OH remit to both face to face clients and those who receive telephone delivered services. Travel to client sites is a requirement of the role.
This role is for 3 days per work - Salary £34,000-37,999 pro rata'd
