My client, in the heart of Cardiff City Centre, are seeking Claims handlers to join their team. They have competitive benefits and a social working environment with a role where no two days are the same!
Main responsibilities of a Claims handler:
Manage a caseload of RTA claimant personal injury claims valued £10,000 and below
Liaise effectively with the claimant, medical specialists, third parties and all relevant parties to gather relevant information to help progress the claim
Work within standard service levels and act in the best interests of the client
Ensure all payments made and received are accurately recorded on the case management system
Commit to your own personal development and seek guidance when required
What are we looking for in a Claims handler?
Educated to degree level or previous experience in a solicitor or insurance environment
Experience of personal injury liability and quantum issues are desirable
Proven client care skills and excellent communication abilities
Ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines and manage your time efficiently
Demonstrable negotiation skills
