Job SummaryWe are currently recruiting for a Team Leaderwho will be responsible to manage the daily operation of the Ibis Hotel inGloucester in the absence of the Hotel Manager and Assistant Hotel Manager.You will currently need to be working in a 3/ 4-star hotel in either Front Office or Food and Beverage in a Supervisoryrole. As Hotel Operations Supervisor you will ensure that yourself and yourteam provide our guests with excellent hospitality. This starts with a friendly and efficientcheck in. You will be a key part of theHotels Management team and therefore you will be given the responsibility torun the daily operation of this busy hotel. Your day-to-day
PeopleManageday-to-day staffing needs, plan and assign work and establish performance anddevelopment goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regularfeedback to improve team member performanceEducateand train team members in compliance with UK laws and safety regulations.Ensure staff is properly trained and has the tools and equipment to carry outjob dutiesEnsure your team are properly trained onsystems, security, service and quality standards
Financial Helpprepare annual departmental operating budget and financial plans. Monitorbudget and control labour costs and expenses with a focus on rate strategy,building initiatives and inventory managementOverseenight audit function and preparation of daily financial reportsDevelop plans to increase occupancy and ADRthrough walk-ins and upselling at the front desk
GuestExperienceEnsureyour Front Office team delivers great service, professional attention andpersonal recognitionEnsureguests are greeted upon arrival and make time to engage with guests. Respondappropriately to guest complaints, solicit feedback and build relationships todrive continuous improvement in guest satisfactionConduct routine inspections of the front officeand public areas and take immediate actions to correct any deficiencies
Responsible Business Checkbilling instructions and guest credit for compliance with hotel credit policyand ensure all transactions are handled in a secure mannerTrainteam members on PBX procedures and serve as a central communications pointduring emergency/crisis situationsPerform other duties as assigned. May also serveas Manager on DutyWhat we need from youPreviousexperience in a hotel reception orreception management positionMust speak fluent EnglishSecondary Education preferred
