About the job
Our client provides long term and short-term rehabilitation, care and support for people who have experienced life changing conditions such as traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis and spinal injury.
They also look after patients who need tracheostomy care, enteral feeding and assisted ventilation.
The centre is considered a flagship for clinical excellence and has a small patient base of 24 beds.
As a deputy manager, you will still have day-to-day nursing responsibilities as well as managing the wards. You will also report directly to the hospital manager.
To provide clinical leadership to nursing team and ensure the provision of high quality
To ensure high quality individualised person centre standards of care are delivered to all patients
Ensure the effective supervision and development of staff
To work and act as a key member of the team, supporting each patient with achieving their planned outcomes
To act as the lead nurse in the assessment, implementation of care through to point of discharge
To take charge of clinical area
To take a lead on developing and maintaining communication with patients relatives, families and carers, to support them to support patients goals
Requirements for the role
You will be an NMC registered Nurse, able of working in a challenging environment. You will also have management experience in any setting.
You must also have a valid right to work in the United Kingdom and the ability to apply for an Enhanced DBS check.
