About the job
Located in the beautiful city of Lincoln and well connected to businesses in the area, Lincoln International Business School is a growing and ambitious school with an internationally diverse student body and a set of programmes ranked highly in the National Student Survey. The School is investing in research and enterprise seeking to enhance its role as a hub with both local and global connections. The Business School occupies a custom designed building on our city centre campus with modern learning spaces for students, a specialist facility for corporate education, and flexible spaces to support collaborative research.
The Business School is looking to appoint an academic to lead the enterprise discipline and oversee the development of new entrepreneurship programmes. You will have extensive experience of entrepreneurship teaching ideally in both on-campus and executive programmes at both undergraduate and masters level. You will be actively engaged in research, publishing in high quality journals in entrepreneurship and related disciplines, and have experience of PhD supervision. It will also be expected that you have experience of engagement with the business community and working with partners and student mentors from small and medium-sized enterprises.
The post is available as either a readership or principal lectureship depending on the balance of previous experience. Appointment as a reader would require an excellent track record in high quality publication and experience of external grant income. Applicants with a stronger teaching and enterprise background would be considered for a principal lectureship.
