If the answer is yes then Cover Supervisor work with Randstad Education could be for you!

On behalf of our North Liverpool Secondary Schools, we are looking for a cover supervisor who can work on a daytoday, ad hoc basis although this could lead to something more longterm in future. The successful candidate would need to be available to start as soon as possible.

This is a great opportunity to experience what its like to teach at different local, schools across a varied age range. No two shifts will be the same!

  • RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise classes of 1118 yearolds, managing behaviour in line with school policy

Deliver lessons in a range of subjects, set by a qualified teacher, with no planning or marking involved

Engage with the pupils and keep them on task, assisting with queries where possible

Deal with any immediate issues or emergencies according to the school policies and procedures

  • REQUIREMENTS

Experience of working with secondary age children, which can be referenced (voluntary work included)

An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) we can help with this

Be flexible, punctual, professional and approachable manner

The ability to establish rapport quickly with children whilst maintaining a high standard of control and discipline

A degree qualification or a qualification in teaching and learning support (advantageous, although not essential)
