Logistics Administrator - West Thurrock

We currently have 2 permanent vacancies for Logistics Administrators based at our brand new Distribution Centre in West Thurrock. This role will involve you being responsible for key administrative duties across the Fleet and Warehouse operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking for a role within Drinks Logistics Industry with great progression opportunities.
Working hours will be Monday-Friday on either a 6-2 or 2-10 rotating shift pattern with a degree of flexibility necessary.
Maintain accurate and up to date transport documentation
Compile daily reports and KPI’s
Deal with customer queries and close down in SAP system
Support and cover for Holiday and Sickness within the Logistics Team
Complete driver delivery packs for radial routes
Induct/brief Agency staff and own night trunk drivers
Carry out Digital Tachograph downloads of both drivers cards and vehicles
Check Log and file daily defect reports
Scan pick sheets, delivery notes and complete general filing duties
Raise purchase orders and assist with our empties management process
Perceptive, with good attention to detail
A first class communicator, comfortable communicating with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels across the business
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel
Happy to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Able to prioritise your workload and manage deadlines effectively
