Are you an Operations Manager or Fitness Manager looking for a new challenge, or an experienced, exceptionally talented Duty Manager ready for the next step?
As Sports Centre Manager at this Sports & Fitness Centre in Milton Keynes, you will be co-coordinating the daily Operation. You will need to be able to motivate your team and ensure members and visitors are treated to an exceptional visit, through the delivery of very high standards and and top class service at all times.
This is a key appointment within the contract, The Community Sports Centre Manager is responsible for the day to day management of two pavilions, working closely with local community groups and users to ensure the facility delivers against its objectives. Managing a small team operational assistants you will drive high standards with a hands on approach managing all aspects of the operation from H&S to the commercial delivery of the centres.
The ideal Manager will be able to manage their own P&L, to understand where attention is required to drive revenue ensuring your departments are on track to target, but also maintaining a budget, being able to work efficiently in an effective manner to exceed expectation on multiple platforms.
You will need to be able to manage your team, offering development, progression, clear direction with your man-management skills and being able to recruit strong team members where required.
You will be managing Dry facilities, therefore experience and a passion for Fitness is essential. FAAW is desirable. You will need to be able to manage the compliance side of the business in line with the Health & Safety at Work act. Leading on audits and the administration where required, ensuring your team understands procedures and processes alike.
