Experience of sales within an engineering or manufacturing environment? Dealt with clients in the UK as well as globally? Looking to work with a rapidly expanding company with a strong legacy and brand name?
You will be working very closely with the Sales Manager and Site Supervisors to respond to RFIs and provide quotations. You should be comfortable gathering quotes from internal and external parties including manufacturing teams and subcontractors. The role requires a high level of accuracy and ensuring the customers requests are dealt with, delivered and followed up within an established time frame. You should have experience of monitoring sales statistics data and some relevant marketing activities.
The role has come around as an additional requirement due to the level of business, the aftermarket division of the company is growing rapidly and has quickly established itself as a main revenue stream for the company. This has been driven by developing existing relationships, winning new work and ensuring the project delivery has been of the highest possible quality.
The role comes with a salary of up to £35k on experience, some travel is required and whilst the role will be based 80% from the head office you will be required to meet customers on site in the UK and overseas.
