Do you currently sell in the surveying equipment, plant hire or capital equipment sector? Are you perhaps a qualified Surveyor, or Site Manager, Project Manager looking to get into sales? Fantastic opportunity, covering the North of England. Up to £35k basic, £22k+ OTE, plus benefits.
Our client is a multidepot, highly regarded supplier of automatic levels, lasers, Total Stations, Theodolites, GPS, cable avoidance products, thermal imaging, penetrating radar and drain cameras and associated site products, such as marking paints, measuring tapes and wheels and tripods.
Due to expansion, they are currently looking for a Business Development Manager, Sales Surveyor to cover the Southwest.
As Business Development Manager, Sales Surveyor, you will be joining an experienced team of surveying sales professionals.
You will be covering the Southwest based at our clients depot near Exeter. Your geographic patch will stretch from Bridgewater south to Lands End. You will ideally be within an hours commute of the Exeter area.
This is a mix of selling, hiring and repairs of market leading surveying equipment and associated products.
These include automatic levels, lasers, Total Stations, Theodolites, GPS, cable avoidance products, thermal imaging, penetrating radar and drain cameras and associated site products, such as marking paints, measuring tapes and wheels and tripods.
The successful Business Development Manager, Sales Surveyor will be selling & hiring to Main contractors, House Builders, Property Developers, Architects, subcontractors, civil engineering companies and utilities.
This will be a mix of account management and new business.
Average orders can value widely, as this is a mix of hire and sales. Hire for equipment can start at a few Pounds for basic tripods & measuring tapes, all the way up to £100k+ for a Total Station.
The Successful Candidate:
The ideal Business Development Manager, Sales Surveyor will already be working for a surveying equipment manufacturer or within plant hire.
A qualified surveyor, project manager or site manager, who is already working with these surveying products on a day to day basis, wanting to move into Field sales will also be considered.
Experience of selling capital equipment, plant hire, into Main contractors, House Builders, Property Developers, Architects, subcontractors, civil engineering companies and utilities, will also be considered.
You will have a strong work ethic, enthusiastic and be passionate about the product youre selling.
You will be technically strong, have a passion for surveying equipment, be a great relationship builder.
You will be looking for a long term career, as my client is a growing business.
The Remuneration Package:
Basic salary of £30,000 £35,000 dependent on experience
£3k£7k+ commission potential.
Ford Mondeo or Nissan Navarra company vehicle with fuel card.
28 days holiday rising with service.
