Technical Support Engineer
Our client is currently looking for a technical support engineer to manage systems design, quoting clients and to provide technical assistance and support either via the phone or site visits.
There are no set requirements, but the following would be an advantage:
- OND,HNC, HND, foundation degree or degree in electronic engineering, digital media technology, IT & Networking and acoustics
- Relevant work Experience in sound technology, IT or electronics.
- Acoustic modelling experience with EASE, CATT or Oden.
What youll do
Your work will involve:
Dealing with customer enquiries, reading and interpreting tender documents, producing quotations, drawing up support documentation for quotations such as system schematics, rack layouts, and marking up drawings with speaker layout designs, assist in system build and supporting the sales & technical team.Vet sales orders to ensure they match our quotations and everything has been included for.
Your position will allow for future development within the Company to move into a more technical field support or a mostly office based technical support and training roll and then on to a possible management roll based on your personal development and performance.
