Gattaca has partnered with a leading global engineering technology company who are looking for a Key Account Manager to join their sales team. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and furthering the existing relationship, growing revenue and farming the account effectively. The ideal individual for the role will probably be someone with a background in technical, either working on a software or working on the technical aspect of highlevel software solutions or implementations and have latterly moved into a sales role. You will be capable of orchestrating high value deals and the people and processes that come with a complex deal. You will be an effective communicator and a confident presenter. You will be happy liasing with staff members at all seniorities and in all departments.
The Key Account Manager is responsible for day to day CEIT sales activities within Flagship/Key Accounts. A Key Account Manager is responsible for developing new opportunities within these accounts and work collaboratively with delivery engagement/programme managers to help farm these accounts.
Revenue Growth within the account
Value creation in terms of acquiring new deals and the Customer Satisfcation score
Documenting sales activities on the CRM
Must continually monitor pipeline movement, add new opportunities to the pipeline and maintain the offshore opportunities at or above target level
Must maintain a Key Account planning document with regular updates
360 Business review: Forecast, financial results, services, resource planning, debt review, cash collection and action plan
Thorough understanding of IT Programme delivery requirements
Experience of selling SAP, MES etc. transformation deals
Knowledge of IT outsourcing
Knowledge of current automotive products
Knowledge of automotive company IT strategies
Ability to probe and find out pertinent information
Resolve business issues as and when they arise
Track record of multimillion $/£ programme nomination successes
