About the job
An international company in Thame is looking for a purchasing administrator to cover a 12 month fixed term contract with a potential opportunity for it to go permanent.
To provide additional support to the Sales Administration Manager, ensuring all purchasing records are updated each week and month as required.
To support the sales administration team with any day to day duties as requested.
To undertake all duties and responsibilities with the highest regard to health and safety of people, product and facilities.
Main duties and responsibilities
Enter the sales order onto the Purchasing Sales Inventory (PSI) a spreadsheet that holds all of the purchasing records
Weekly PSI reconciliation
ETAs from KPortal to PSI sheet
Forecast update and create PSI snapshot to send each week
Update CAT weekly figures onto PSI spreadsheet
Update Hyster weekly figures onto PSI spreadsheet
Monthly Forecast email and update onto PSI
Kit order support each month
Assist the sales desk with order input of standard orders
Support the sales administration team with admin tasks
Essential skills, Knowledge and Experience
You will ideally have:
Experience in working within a busy purchasing environment as well as having sales administration and customer service skills
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and at least intermediate level of Excel is essential, with experience using spreadsheets and databases
An eye for detail, be analytical, investigative and methodical in their approach
Effective communication skills
The ability to work on your own initiative but also able to work as part of a larger team
