If the answers to the above questions are yes a national nursery chain is recruiting a Senior Room Manager for one of their Nurseries in Mill Hill. You must be minimum Level 3 qualified with appropriate room manager experience as the nursery want the person who takes this position to eventually take on management responsibilities.
You must have excellent knowledge of the EYFS and be comfortable leading a strong team of assistants, nurses and apprentices.
The nursery will provide ongoing training and can offer the successful candidate the chance to progress at a pace that suits them as they firmly believe in recruiting from within.
The nursery has a number of rooms appropriate for children aged 3 months 5 years. The staff at Mill Hill are dedicated, hardworking, skilled and most of all passionate about their roles, the children and the parents. Cecilia the Chef provides delicious home cooked food which is nutritionally balanced and healthy. The nursery have a four week rolling menu which takes advantage of fresh, seasonal produce and allows our children to experience a wide variety of tastes, textures, flavours and colours within their meals. The nursery also has a large garden surrounding the building where the children have opportunities to explore the outside environment.
Being flexible on the start times of your shifts Be able to cover various age ranges in the EYFS Providing support to newly qualified Nursery Assistants and Apprentices Safeguarding children To provide an exceptional standard of emotional, physical, intellectual and social care for the children in the setting Helping to maintain and oversee a clean, tidy, safe and childfriendly environment Supervising activities both inside and outside, including physical pursuits Changing nappies or helping with potty/toilet training Working with any health and social care professionals, where necessary, and undertaking any relevant admin/paperwork Feeding suitable snacks, meals and drinks Teaching general life skills such as manners and basic hygiene

You will need:
A full and relevant Early Years qualification Level 3 or above. An excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and the Ofsted inspection framework. A comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations. To be fully trained in safeguarding and paediatric first aid.
