Enterprise Business Architect

Harvey Nash are currently working with a client based in Cambridge, who are actively seeking an Enterprise Business Architect to undertake architectural leadership, and drive the delivery of a global or project specific architecture within the business. The role will also require you to provide technical implementation assurance when needed, and effectively own/create conceptual design statement documents to support the Group IT Design Authority Governance process.

The role will be responsible for:

Owning/creating Conceptual Design statement documents to support the Group IT Design Authority Governance process based around material change programmes of work and Design Artefacts.

Creation and updating of ToBe Reference Architecture and the championship of RA through approval governance.

Creation, review and updating of Standards and Policies, via GAP analysis of Ref Architectures.

Work with enterprise architects and key organizational stakeholders to define a strategic plan for leveraging integrated business architecture as part of the enterprise architecture.

Participate in enterprise strategy development, including environmental analysis, opportunity identification, value cases and business innovation portfolio development.

Define a clear plan and governance for ensuring the business architecture work is in lock step with the other EA viewpoints.

Provide strategic consultation to assigned lineofbusiness (LOB) customers in defining or designing business capabilities, processes, functions and organizational structures, as well as in researching, identifying and internally marketing, selling and enabling technologies based on business and enduser requirements.

Ideally, the candidate will have:

Knowledge and understanding of different types of business and operating models (existing, new, emerging and hybrid).

Knowledge of existing, new and emerging technologies and being able to practically them to new business designs and business models.

Indepth experience with business transformation and process redesign methods.

Knowledge in all aspects of designing and constructing business processes, functions and organisational structures.

Comprehensive knowledge of facilitation and organisation change management.

Above all else, you will have great communication skills, with the ability to develop & maintain working relationships with key stakeholders including Development, Change Management, Service Management and Deployment teams.
