Support and Wellbeing Administrator
Reference: A4569Description: Plymouth University Peninsula Schools of Medicine & Dentistry have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join its busy Admissions and Student Support Team.
You will be joining a friendly and flexible team who administer the admissions process and continuing support needs of our students. Under the direction of the Admissions Administrator and as a member of the team, you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive, customer focused, integrated, cost effective and progressive administrative support service for the Plymouth University Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry.
You will be a direct point of contact for student support enquiries, necessitating an ability to provide appropriate advice, guidance, or referral as required. Responsibilities will include the handling and storage of sensitive and confidential data, administration of Faculty Support funds and tuition fees, and the maintenance of e-learning support materials.
You will need to produce standard documents, reports and presentations. Collate, input and maintain accurate data using a variety of systems. Organise meetings & visits, coordinate calendars, paperwork and associated arrangements to ensure successful event management. Interface with customers, partners and stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of our student support functions.
You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and have extensive experience in a customer service environment. Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and have some knowledge of HE structures. Prior experience of National student funding schemes and support packages would be an advantage. You will be based at the John Bull Building at Plymouth Science Park, Derriford.

This is a Full-time post working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
