RGN Unit Manager wanted
The purpose-built home specialises in providing general or specialist dementia nursing care for older people. They offer a supportive environment with individualised bedrooms and homely lounge areas.

As a Unit Manager you will be joining the multi-disciplinary team where you will build your own personal development as well as the services.
Your main duties will be:
Ensuring the highest possible standards of care is given - continually assess residents' needs and wishes, develop the service to enhance their quality of life.
Champion independence and personal choice; develop, review and update care plans to meet the clients changing physical, social and psychological needs.
Oversee all aspects of medicine management ensure medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered to our clients.
Set in place rigorous monitoring and recording practice; document efficiently, and thoroughly all matters relating to our residents and employees.
Proactively monitor all standards of care; undertake audits and implement corrective action where appropriate.
To assist with all people management duties, including but not exclusively; recruitment, training and career development, performance management and effective delegation of duties.
For this role you must have experience within older people care within a senior level, with an excellent clinical track record. You must be a qualified Registered General Nurse with a current NMC registration with excellent organisational and leadership skills. It is essential for you to have effective communicational skills with a flexible and professional attitude towards your work.
