Randstad Education Liverpool are seeking a Music Tutor to work for our client that provides one to one and group tuition as well as full class Singing Music Lessons. We are particularly seeking Vocal tutors on this occasion. The work will take place across a variety of primary schools in the Liverpool area. This vacancy is to start asap for long term maternity cover, running until potentially the end of the academic year. The post is parttime and flexible in hours and days.

Competitive rates of pay paid weekly, which are fully compliant under the Agency Workers Regulations (AWR, 2011)

Plan, prepare and teach appropriate sessions to include Voice and Singing, enabling all student abilities to access the curriculum
Support colleagues within various schools as required
Communicate fully with our client regarding hours and feedback
Maintain discipline through employing various classroom management techniques in line with the schools behaviour management policy
Hold relevant music qualifications, must have experience of working with children.
Be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and full referencing process
Be passionate about music and teaching this to children
Have excellent communication skills
Possess the motivation to achieve and add value to a school
Have proven classroom management skills
