We are seeking a new colleague to lead the development and delivery of all aspects of the Collections and Digital Library service to support learning, teaching and research at UEL. You will lead the procurement and management of information resources and scholarly content in a range of formats, with an emphasis on providing customer focused services and innovative approaches to delivery. You will also oversee the curation and preservation of research outputs and library archives and lead on library-related IT systems, working closely with the ITS team to ensure effective support for and continued development of library systems.
You will be educated to degree level in library or information studies or in a related area, a management or project management qualification is desirable. With excellent ITC skills you will have extensive experience and knowledge of Library IT systems and the development of innovative practice. Excellent team and project management and communication skills are essential.
