Job Description:

As a New Business Account Manager, you will develop and grow business relationships; managing orders, processes and ensuring relationships are maintained. You will work towards individual and personal sales targets to grow your market and gain new and consistent orders and business.

A New Business Account Manager will:

Develop sales and achieve margin growth
Work towards individual and personal targets and KPIs
Set up effective communication channels
Take responsibility and own your own accounts and company base
Work with a dedicated sales team to support and achieve mutual targets
Ensure daily/weekly/monthly contact is maintained with customers
Work towards sale, crosssale and upsale targets
Occasionally travel to customer sites to further develop relationships

Candidate Requirements:

For the role of New Business Account Manager, you will have proven experience successfully working towards targets and will be a positive and enthusiastic conversationalist. You will have determination to succeed and a passion for building rewarding relationships.

A New Business Account Manager should have:

Experience working with telesales, or target driven roles
The ability to multitask, prioritise and ensure accuracy
An understanding of setting up effective communication channels, be able to plan effectively, take the lead and delegate accordingly with excellent negotiation and questioning skills
A knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Demonstrated new business wins
Worked within a supplies, distribution or similar retail sales environment

The New Business Account Manager will be a people person, a fantastic communicator and can be responsive and consistent. For a successful individual, you will be highly rewarded in fun and different ways as well as gain the opportunity to work within a friendly and dynamic open office environment.

Hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday

Salary: £18,000 per annum
(increasing to £19,000 per annum after probation)
