Project Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £6070K Plus package

I am currently assisting one of the biggest names in the construction industry, my client is in search for a skilful and proficient Project Quantity Surveyor. Being the lead supplier of numerous high spec residencies in London, this developer is known for their iconic projects and impressive skylines both in the U.K and abroad.

The project that you will be joining is a £100 million major scheme that consists of retail new build as well as residential build that will comprise of at least 500 units. The individual will be working in a culture where delivering projects to the highest standard is key and people are ambitious, driven and committed. Not only is there great driven staff, there is great scope for progression and for the individual to work their way up the career ladder.
A Project Quantity Surveyor who has the capability to control commercial and financial aspects of the project as well as be able to provide advice and report on contracts is the criteria the candidate should be able to match. The individual will also have quality knowledge of subcontract management and have well developed project and time management skills enabling them to know how to prioritise their workload.
As a project quantity surveyor, you will have a previous track record for working alongside a developer however, my client will consider someone from a main contracting background. The model candidate will be familiar with handling large tenders and will be ready to take on new challenges on a daily. Your day to day duties will entail, assisting with the management of the project as well as be able to supervise and lead commercial, financial and contractual elements to amplify profitability and make sure the companies legal and contractual requirements are met with.
