An Exceptional opportunity has arisen City & Guilds Test and Inspection electrical engineer to join a leading organisation based in the Manchester Area.
Equipment you will work on day to day: Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Gear-boxes, Pumps, Generators, Motors and Drive
Electrical and mechanical engineers' qualifications Machining and Fabrication experience within the industry preferable Fault-finding skills essential
Excellent Communication skills required
Preferably experienced in rotating Plant and equipment
To communicate with management and colleagues regarding all issues relating to the business effecting customers Use of manufacturer's technical manuals and diagrams to diagnose repairs and locate faults using a range of testing equipment and tools
To carry out work within the workshop to the required Company quality standards and to be held accountable for any rework or warranty issues encountered
To communicate with customers regarding collection, ongoing repairs and delivery of jobs both Emergency and Normal Service To carry out work both on site and within the workshop as required
To ensure the Company Quality Standards are maintained and all relevant workshop documentation is completed to meet the ISO9001:2008 BSI Standard Before starting any jobs ensure that barrier creams are applied and ensure the relevant PPE is worn
Implement and follow training and guidelines as detailed in the Occupational Health and Safety manual
To ensure all jobs are booked onto the EMIR System including photographs.
Photographs should be taken on receipt, during dismantle if particular problems are encountered and once a job has been completed and before dispatch.
The ideal Electrical Maintenance engineer will have:
To ensure the Company vehicles are roadworthy and kept in a clean and tidy condition.
All defects should be reported to the line manager immediately
To ensure all tools and equipment is maintained to ensure the safety of the user (replaced where necessary)
Recognized and established work practices and quality standards
Ensure that good housekeeping standards are maintained Ensure that the premises are secured at close of business
Must have previous experience within a similar role
City & Guilds Test & Inspection 2391 - This is a Must
NICEIC Certificate - ideally
Must be able to Drives
Salary : £28,000 / £34,000
Shift : Days 7:30am till 4pm
22 + 5 Days Holiday
Location : Manchester
