Manpower has an amazing opportunity to work within a wellrespected organisation as a 999 Call Handler. This call centre is based in Bicester and is a vital role within the NHS as it is the first point of contact for the general public in their up most time of need.
In this role, you will take emergency 999 calls, offering the best service on every call as you provide lifesaving support to the general public. You will be joining a fastpaced team in a publicfocused contact centre environment, answering and processing emergency health care calls direct from the public, supported by onhand nurses to assess callers health care needs and ensure they receive the right service or advice as quickly as possible. Work closely with health care professionals to assist with other required duties to provide the best possible standard of care to all patients
The call centre is open 24/7, 365 days a year which means you must be fully flexible when working, which does include bank holidays, Christmas and New Years. Youll receive a competitive salary starting from £8.53 per hour and a 25% enhancement on your pay for unsociable hours worked.
To be successful as a 999 Call Handler you must have the passion to help others and commitment to building a career. Being a 999 Call Handler, you will benefit from continuous personal development and an excellent career path. Having some previous experience as a Customer Service Advisor would be an advantage, but as full training is provided you only need a good telephone manner and a willingness to learn.
