Funding & Marketing Officer
Full time (37hrs per week); PartTime applications will be considered
Location: Smiles House, Little Plumstead
Salary: £20,000 (Full time, prorata for Part time)
Nelsons Journey, Norfolks leading child bereavement charity, is seeking a creative and inspiring individual to join a successful fundraising team as a Funding & Marketing Officer. The post holder will work as part of a team to raise sufficient funds for the charity to support Norfolks bereaved children and young people a year.
The post holder will spend the first year providing maternity cover to deliver the charitys Corporate Fundraising and Marketing strategy. Beyond this time, the tasks and responsibilities of the post will be reviewed against the charitys overall income strategy.
The successful candidate will research, identify and engage with potential business supporters and secure support for fundraising activities to maximise income for Nelsons Journey. The post holder will develop highlevel relationships and present to a wide range of audiences, including by representing Nelsons Journey through print, broadcast and social media.
Applicants must be able to provide a car for which a mileage rate will be paid. Business use insurance must be in place for the vehicle. This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
