Accounting Technician (North West)

We are seeking an Accounting Technician to join the expanding Finance team in our North West Office. The successful candidate will undertake a varied role gaining experience across all areas of the finance remit. This role will be based in our North West Office and will report to the Company Accountant. 
Role ResponsibilitiesAssist with client billing and credit control oversightCode purchase invoices and scheduling supplier paymentsAssist with monthly payrollPerform timely reconciliations on a regular basisAssist with compilation of government grant claimsAssist with preparation of quarterly VAT returnsPerform month end related duties, such as bank reconciliation and accountspreparationOther related duties as required
The PersonIATI / ATI qualified or similar with two years experience in a similar roleStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS packagesExcellent organisation and time management skillsStrong communication skillsIndustry background preferable, though those with a practice backgroundwill be consideredExperience with Xero accounting package desirable
