Regional Manager -Learning Disabilities & Mental Health


£40000 - £45000 Per Annum plus £5k car allowance


Time to step up?
As Regional Manager you will provide operation support directly to managers. You may be required to Deputise in the absence of the Director of Operations or Service Manager as required.

Operational Management

To provide operational support within area of responsibility reporting directly to the Operations Director,
To ensure all services fully comply with all appropriate statutory standards and requirements as dictated by our regulators and are providing a ?Good' or above (5 ? 6 in Scotland) rating
Ensure that within the region there is provision of 24-hour professional support for service delivery staff and that an effective out of hour's service is available.
To ensure a cost-effective approach to management of resources and that the Company financial systems are adhered to.
To ensure the delivery of agreed targets.
To work with the Relationship Team, Clinical Team, Regional Trainer, Unit Teams and others in the development and implementation of a robust pipeline strategy,
To work towards ensuring that every appropriate action is taken to ensure occupancy targets are met and where possible maximum occupancy is obtained,
To undertake, as a minimum, bi-weekly service visits and reviews (as required by the service in question).
Effectively manage multi-sites and provide appropriate communication.

Service Development

Work with the Director of Operations to identify areas for growth, pre-empting and responding to both internal and external initiatives to enhance growth and maximise potential.
Commission new services and work with the relevant project teams to achieve timely registration.
Continuous development of market knowledge of LD and mental health.
In conjunction with the Director of Operations, review individual and regional financial targets, contributing to 12 month and three-year business plan.

Risk Management

Responsibility for the awareness of all risks within the service you have the day to day support responsibilities for, that have a potentially adverse effect on the Company's ability to maintain quality of care and the safety of patients, service users, staff and visitors, and for the taking of positive action to eliminate or reduce these.
Promote the application of Governance Policies internally.
Advise the Operations Director of risks as they are identified and suggested action to minimise or eliminate risk;
Responsibility to abide by all of the safety practices and codes provided by the Company and have an equal responsibility with others for maintaining safe working practices for the health and safety of yourself and others.


Ensure the highest quality of service is provided to our patients and service users, and maintained.


Ensure you remain up to date with current legislation.
Ensure that you remain up to date with any changes from regulatory bodies.
Maintain a personal development plan.
Proactively engage in personal and leadership development activities.
