The ICT Department is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated business analyst to work as part of its business analysis team on a two-year secondment.
The University is constantly reviewing its existing ICT systems and considering new ways of using technology to improve its business processes, information flows and services to customers. It is currently engaged in a major programme of change that will transform the way that ICT systems and services are experienced across the institution.
The ICTD Business Analysis team plays an important role in ensuring that, before new and innovative technologies are procured and implemented, these technologies and their associated business processes, are assessed to ensure that they will meet the business requirements of the University, complement existing systems and strategies and essentially be ‘fit for purpose’. This will require the successful candidate to work closely and develop strong relationships with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the University.
This will be an exciting, busy and challenging role and will require that the successful candidate have previous business analysis experience and have been involved in leading or managing significant ICT systems, service and process change projects within a HE environment. There will be opportunities for the individual to develop their skills further within this role as the programme of work and incoming project proposals develop and progress.
