About the job
To work on Site and support the uptime of the media system at the hospital site including day to day customer queries.
**8GBP per hour weekends (16 hours per week)
-Maintain the multimedia system
-Visit every customer bedside unit each week ensuring headphones are provided
-Present bedside units to customers
-Proactively visiting patients and helping them register on our TV and phone system and refreshing the unit (known as our ?bedside unit? or ?BSU?).
-Reactively respond to requests from patients generated from calls to our Customer Contact Centre by
the patient or from the site based teams (known as ?bleeps?). These might be calls for help in any of the following:
Registering on our system
Helping the patient navigate around our system
Requests for headphones
Helping the patient or visitor understand buying options and how to pay
Giving support when needed in resolving a fault with the bedside unit primarily reboots, or any other issue within the remit of SSA to fix.
-Dealing with specific patient complaints that require resolution or escalation
-Meeting Health and Safety guidelines and instructions at all times.
-Replacing consumables as and when required and keeping ward stocks replenished
SkillsSkills & Attributes Required:
-Excellent command of written and spoken English
-MRSA & infection control procedures
-COSHH for products used
-Customer Service skills
-Knowledge of the client bedside unit from a customer and nurse prospective
-Basic knowledge of Patient (PC programme)
-Basic PC usage & reporting skills
-Awareness of current company marketing themes
-Knowledge of ward usages and key members of nursing staff
